RIPM is glad to be a partner in the creation and support of the Central Vermont Trailblazers, a youth mountain bike race team that is part of Vermont Youth Cycling. Our kids need gear, rides, coaching, mentoring, and more! This is a great way to give back to the sport and focus ahead on the next generation. Contact Sarah at the link above to get involved!

Stranahan (Marshfield) Town Forest
Molasses, Uncle Maple, and Tapline are three trails that were built for mountain biking in the Stranahan (Marshfield) Town Forest. The Thompson Road and Moon Field Trail are also open to bikes. See a map on the town website or at the kiosk on Jake Martin Road. The trails are all marked with signs. See more details on Trailforks.
Twinfield Union School (Marshfield)
***These trails are only open to the public outside of school hours, as they are used during the day by the students and this is a closed campus.***
Rheia's Run and Bear Cave Trail were newly constructed in 2018 and 2019, and are open to the public for riding. These build on the existing bike trails in the area, including the Cedar Crest Trail on school property, and the old railbed that connects the villages of Plainfield and Marshfield and Groton State Forest.
Access the trails from the railbed or the school, behind the TLC garden. The trails are marked with signs and blazes.
